The musical act, Terri Knight and The Dreams, are about to begin a world-wide concert tour when Terri is murdered while taking a pre-show nap, in bed. Her husband and manager, Jack Barnett, is the one who is accused of the crime. Jack's good friend, Perry Mason, takes on his defense.
