Brett Huston, the anchor on the Denver station KGGY Channel 8 10:00 PM News is murdered with a gun owned by his co-anchor, Gillian Pope. Seemingly everyone at the station, including Ms. Pope, had a good motive for the killing. Ms. Pope considers Perry a friend and convinces him to represent her defense.
